I love this phone - the speaker quality is unsurpassed. It has some truly unique and useful features. 1) Linux based java capable - so downloading apps and just the quantity of apps available is huge. 2) has an SD card slot for movies and pics, which also makes it easy to transfer your movies and pics to a computer for DVD bu ring purposes. 3) has a speaker phone that's quality is 2nd to none. I've used this phone in large conference rooms and it has worked well. 4) it has the standard Nextel direct connect (walkie talkie) function that is so useful. 5) here is the bonus - it also has a regular (off the network) walkie talkie function - just like a standard talk about. So let's say your on a cruise and you and your wife each have one of these phones you can use them as a standard walkie talkie (approx 6 miles range). Show me another phone that has that! 6) bluetooh capable.

I like my Nextel i880, but my bill is always high. It was supposed to be 69.00 a month, but I told them my bill is always over 200.00 a month. I wish I could pay my bills through LetsTalk, but you said it goes to Sprint. Anyways, we do like our cell phones. Thank you for your business.

The Nextel i880 is a nice cell phone with a lot of capabilities. Be careful with the game downloads. I downloaded Zuma and it gets stuck at times and other times my cell phone reboots altogether. Nice design, lightweight as far as Nextel goes, and the MP3 player is a nice touch. I have the Unlimited plan with Sprint/Nextel so most of the features of my cell phone can be used at no extra charge, including navigation. Overall, I'm happy with what I have.

I just got the Nextel i880 a little while ago and so far it has been pretty great. It has the best design of any Nextel phone yet, it has many perks (external music player buttons, 2 mp camera) plus the Nextel walkie talkie feature. When I first got it I did have a problem with the text messaging, the messages would go to the SMS in-box instead of the regular one and I wouldn't be able to tell who the message was from and I couldn't reply to it. A quick call to Nextel fixed that though. Overall, I think this is a pretty good phone, it is a little on the big side but it makes up for it with all its great features.

I thought that I was the only one dealing with problems with the i880 but I'm glad I'm not.the cell phone would cut off by itself, the transmitters would be found late.the text take a LONG time to send out and sometimes even LONGER to receive, when someone calls I don't hear it vibrate.so overall this phone sucks!so good luck to those thinking about getting this phone

The i880 is turning out to be a nuisance!!! Screen light is out when I flip it open and when it's on then the keys' light is off! I had the i730 for three years and never had a problem with it!!! I now hate this phone! Takes long to send a text msg and works worst with bluetooth! Motorola or Nextel/sprint please come to our rescue or you lose us as customers!

The Nextel i880 is a pretty good phone I say it's the best Nextel at this moment. I love the design of the phone. I sort of have problems with the battery life from time to time but really every Nextels do.

I am quite shocked, the i880 is very petite for me and I like it. Only to discover today after having my phone for two months, the screen has totally blacked out and it is charged up. I wonder if anyone else has experienced a problem like this? Silver Spring, MD
